The Associated Research 4030A is a basic unit designed to be used by a skilled technician, experienced in high voltage-withstand testing. The 4030A tests from 0-4000V AC. The tester has a two range kilovoltmeter and three range microammeter, 0-50/500/5000 Microamps. A collapsing transformer automatically lowers the output voltage as current is limited to approximately 15mA.
