AA60 belts are classified as double-sided AA60 v-belts and are commonly referred to as hex-style belts. This reference is due to the hexagonal shape of the belt; it’s designed that way because it can operate on either side of the belt. AA60 v-belts are commonly found in applications where the belt is used with multiple pulleys that must be driven clockwise or counterclockwise around a single or numerous reverse bends. AA60 belts are designed with chords directly at the centre of the belt, creating even torque capabilities on both sides.
